Clove contains a compound called Eugenol which kills mould spores. Tea tree, lemon scented gum inhibit mould/fungi growth, orange and lemon have uplifting properties and will fill your home with fresh, citrus scents.
Ingredients: Clove, Lemon, Tea Tree, Orange & Lemon Scented Gum
Directions
1. Bench Spray:
Mix a few drops (10-40, depending on the strength desired and the size of the area) of the Mould Away blend with water in a spray bottle. For added efficacy, you can also mix in a small amount of white vinegar, which has natural mould-fighting properties.
Shake Well before each use.
2. Test the Solution:
Before applying it broadly, test the solution on a small area of the surface you intend to clean. This is to ensure that the solution does not damage or discolour the surface, especially if it's delicate or porous.
3. Apply:
Spray over the surface, leave for a few minutes, and then wipe off.
Rinse the cloth regularly in a bucket of water as you move across the wall or other surface.
4. Clean and Dry:
To finish ensure the area is thoroughly dried to prevent any mould from returning. Using a dry cloth or allowing the area to air dry completely is important.
Keep the room is well-ventilated while cleaning particularly if you have pets or small children.
Clove Oil
Clove is a powerful antioxidant; it rates high above all other essential oils according to the ORAC scale (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity - a unit of measurement for antioxidant content). Mould can have severe negative effects on our health especially if there is mould exposure for lengths of time. Clove oil removes mould and kills the spores to stop regrowth.
The principal constituents in Clove Oil are phenols (70 – 80 per cent).
Eugenol is the most antiseptic of the phenol family, and is known for its analgesic and antibacterial properties. This makes Clove oil excellent pain reliever for toothaches, sore gums and mouth ulcers.
Suggested Uses
Add 1 drop to warm water (or your mouth wash) and gargle daily to combat bad breath and oral problems.
Add 3-4 drops of Clove oil to your cleaning spray to remove mould.
Add a few drops to your diffuser for a warm, spicy aroma
Tea Tree
Regarded as one of the best broad-spectrum antiseptics against fungal, bacterial, viral and parasitic infections, Tea Tree oil is your secret weapon.
Its invigorating aroma fortifies the immune system and aids recovery from chronic illness.
It is considered one of the best broad-spectrum antiseptics against fungal, bacterial, viral and parasitic infections. Primarily used in antiseptic washes it is also useful for safely removing tics.
Research shows Tea tree is 10-13 times stronger than carbolic as an antiseptic and is non-toxic and non-irritant. It has an equal effect on bacteria, viruses and fungus, and as an insecticide.
Reputedly used by inhalation to fight viral and bacterial infections such as glandular fever, whooping cough and candida infections, cystitis and thrush by stimulating the immune system.

Lemon Scented Gum
Wild harvested in Far North Queensland, our zesty Lemon Scented Gum is a unique Australian native. Combining bold eucalyptus aroma and the freshness of lemon, this oil’s sense of adventure coupled with its powerful insect repelling qualities is your go-to Natural Shield.
This oil has been used for centuries in perfumes, antiseptic washes, bench sprays, cleaning products, for mild breathing difficulties, sore throats, laryngitis, athletes foot, cuts, dandruff, deodorising the house and as an insect repellent.
One of the active ingredients within the Lemon Scented Gum is a powerful insect repellent. We have been innovating to create the first wild harvested, organic, insect repellent.
Working with the chemistry department at the James Cook University in Townsville to test and refine our insect repellent, it will be scientifically proven to go toe-to-toe with harmful chemical repellents like DEET and Picarin and offer an organic alternative that really works.
The compound Citronellal is extracted from Lemon Scented Gum and used as a source for many aromatic chemicals in the commercial perfume and soap industry. The gum contains an antibiotic substance called citriodoral, used as an antiseptic, bactericidal, fungicidal and general disinfectant with deodorant and insecticidal properties.
